I drew these quirky little chaps when I lived in the Far East - the story goes that the Governor of Hong Kong released Government House's entire bird collection - including a large number of yellow-crested cockatoos - hours before surrendering to enemy troops in 1941, hence the local population ... Truly fine and dandy.
